This is not your quintessential Christmas song.
Well, maybe not for most people.
Yet.
But it is the quintessential Christmas song for 2Pac Fridays.
When most people celebrate 2Pac Fridays like they do Christmas, then it will be the quintessential Christmas song for most people.
This 2Pac track always makes me think of Christmas season, which we are in the middle of it being the Ides of December. And so this track is ever-appropriate, as is every 2Pac track on every 2pac Friday.
The reason this song make me think of Christmas is the chorus repeats “‘Tis the season to be servin’” rather than “‘Tis the season to be jolly.”
Yes, 'Tis the Friday to be jolly because ‘Tis the Friday to be servin’ 2Pac songs.
After all, it is the holiday season.
