The Importance of Voting Often
Voting is a lifestyle choice, not a fad diet. If you go on a diet and then stop, you normally gain the weight back. You need to continue the healthy lifestyle in order to successfully maintain your ideal weight.
Voting is the same. If you do your civic duty of voting once, and then stop, you are no longer a good citizen (to be clear, we are not saying you are not a good citizen; we are just the messenger relaying the logic–”don’t shoot the messenger,” as they say).
Unfortunately, most countries make it difficult to be a good citizen by offering—at best—limited voting opportunities.
That’s where we step in and have paved the path to good citizenship (with very low carbon emissions in the construction thereof) by developing our world famous (at least some of them) SLP Polls, where you can vote once an hour.
So it is important to vote often in our SLP Polls to be a good citizen. It is a much easier path to good citizenship than more arduous ways of spending your free time volunteering, going to boring town meetings, and doing a lot of unexciting good deeds.
You are indeed doing an exciting good deed by voting in our polls, not completely unlike saving a woman dangling from the edge of a skyscraper before saving her from a falling helicopter. The more you vote, the closer you’ll become to a real-life superhero as you will help both human and bear history, for instance, if you’re voting frequent in the World Famous Sweet Livin’ Productions World’s Best Bear Poll.
Humans and bears (and other curious creatures) will be forever able to look back and see who the most-liked bear was in any given calendar year. You literally cannot put a monetary value on such a thing. It is inflation-proof.
So if you want to feel healthier, not worry about inflation, and be a good person, vote often in the World Famous Sweet Livin’ Productions World’s Best Bear Poll.
To be clear, that is not the only way to be a good person. You could also vote in the Sweetest Hernica Poll. That will not only help your good citizenship in the ways described above, but you will also be pushing to improve global fashion—and “if you look good, you feel good,” as they say.
But to be clear, it is not just those 2 ways that you can be a good citizen; we offer a whole buffet of ways to improve your community impact. A very healthy buffet indeed.
Note: You may supplement this with other things, like a healthy diet (as long as it does not distract you from voting).
Further Note: This concludes, for the moment, our interpretative critical analysis of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.
